After teaching for 10 years, I opened the Creative Learning Center in the fall of 1997. Basing my program on the Reggio Emilio philosophy of education, I created an educational environment for young children honoring community, creativity, theater and the arts. Even after my departure, my business partner and other educators have continued my goals, serving as a legacy to my original vision. I am thrilled that it has thrived and become an integral part of the educational success of the area.
As an event designer and creative director, I assisted in the planning and design of many fabulous weddings, events and photo shoots for couples and publications. I often say, “it’s all in the details” and the importance of finding the spirit of the people involved, creating a personal touch to every event. Timeless style is not about how much a production costs – it is about the unique elements that make a memorable occasion, bringing joy to all the participants.
Writing has always been my passion. I have been journaling for years, contributed to local newspapers, and more recently, collaborated with magazines. Travel writing became an interest of mine when researching honeymoon locations, both in Europe and the United States. Being born in New England and taking various weekend trips and week long vacations throughout the Northeast has become a joy for us. I’ve offered many of our friends and family insight into where to stay and what to see and do. I’m looking forward to continuing my research and writing to uncover the best of the best in New England for those who wish to Wander In Style.
